Nintendo Switch Where to Buy

If you are like me figuring out where to buy Nintendo Switch, then your search should end here. We picked Nintendo Switch over others gaming console for our 10 years old kid, we searched a lot to make our final selection which includes extensive Google search, talked to our friends & colleagues having kids of similar or bit elder ages as ours to get their feedback. Plus, we also got our hands dirty on all the latest gaming consoles, be it in some electronic store or at friend’s place. We tried PlayStation (PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro), Xbox (Xbox One, Xbox One S, Project Scorpio), Nintendo Switch.   I hope this explains why we bought Nintendo Switch, next question that was on our mind what’s the right place to buy this console. After careful considerations & comparisons we bought the gaming console from the COSTCO Canada. We also compared it with COSTCO US, we did the dollar comparison, shipping cost plus took return into account in case we have to, by all means COSTCO Canada worked out best.   Amazing thing is when you but it from COSTCO you get a BUNDLE that includes the following:
  • Nintendo Switch console
  • Nintendo Switch dock
  • Joy-Con (L) and Joy-Con (R)
  • Two Joy-Con strap accessories
  • One Joy-Con grip
  • HDMI cable
  • Nintendo Switch AC adapter
BONUS that’s included in the bundle
  • The Gaming Console cover worth $25 or more. It’s a very good cover
  • Two $20 Nintendo eShop gift cards. We used those gift cards to buy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which is almost $80 + tax Canadian, so we got that game in $40 + tax. You can buy this game from the gaming console itself during initial setup. My 10 years old son did it himself.
Nintendo Switch Bundle From Costco Original

The overall cost of the bundle is  $419 plus tax at Costco Canada

It was surprising that Costco doesn’t display the Nintendo Switch console sale online, we have to go inside the store to buy it. So just call your nearest Costco store first to confirm if they have the gaming console before you make the trip 🙂

Trust me you need everything from that bundle, if you buy the items exclusively outside then you will be paying way higher that what Costco is offering. I have Costco’s executive membership which almost gives me 2% cashback on all the purchases I do in Costco. And you know how much we love Costco’s return policy 🙂

Overall, we are very happy with this purchase at Costco, my kids and family are enjoying the Nintendo Switch a lot.
